Corkscrew Records is a teenage-run bedroom-based independent label based in Lausanne, Switzerland. As a label, we strive to highlight marginalized voices. This includes people of color, women, and non-binary/gender non-conforming folk.
Corkscrew Records came from a place of frustration due to a lack of representation. There just aren’t enough diverse voices out there in the DIY music scene. Through our releases, we hope make things just a tiny bit better.
We also value transparency: we are very clear where our money goes to when we work with artists in order to negotiate a fair deal.
We are also a community-based project: everyone can participate in some way or the other, you just have to contact us!
